Hiil Oy received funding from the European Union for building the factory

Our company applied for funding from the European Union for building the factory and production line and for developing internationalisation readiness. We received a positive decision on the grant in January 2025! In our project "Building the wood surface charring equipment" we are preparing space suitable for factory production for our charring lines and building wood surface charring equipment with which we can produce charred wood at an industrial scale.

The project also aims to develop internationalisation capabilities, which is essential for selling greater production capacity to global markets. With this we are carrying out brand-related development, preparing contract operations and developing our IT systems to support international operations.
